Situgyan Consulting takes great delight in announcing their Indigeno-Futurist contribution to Buro Grandezza’s marvellous future climate conference, Munich 2051. We will be presenting in the persona of the first delegation from Nepal Mandala to have reached Europe in 20 years, after an imagined ‘Blank Years’ that swept the planet with droughts, floods, plagues, and civilizational collapse. Our delegation, which reached Munich after an arduous journey by airship across a ruined landscape, will discuss how the Kathmandu Valley was able to draw on Indigenous Newar expertise in civil engineering, agriculture, and plant medicine in order to survive and become an egalitarian community enriched by refugees from across Asia.

We will discuss quarantine procedures, sacking museums, the remarkable role of vultures, heat-sensitive clothing, and many other exciting developments from the year 2051.
